The exhibition presents, for the first time in Italy, the works by Pomme de Boue - an anonymous collective formed in Ukraine in 2018. The artistic collective deepen the research on mosaics through the study of the early twentieth-century Avante-Garde and the brutalism of the 1950s. The works are characterized by a "nostalgia for the third dimension": the desire to surpass the two-dimensionality of the surface, avoiding rigid geometries while simultaneously creating contrasts of shapes and colors with spontaneous and surprising aesthetics.
