"The mirror now increases the value of things, now denies it. Not everything that appears valid above the mirror resists when mirrored."
Italo Calvino
As usual, Barbara Liverani presents a small exhibition in her atelier. This time we find ourselves in front of precious mirrors, with mosaic frames inspired by the novel "Invisible Cities" by Italo Calvino - an Italian writer whose birth centenary occurs this year.
Looking at the designs and colors of the frames on display, we feel transported to fantastic worlds full of natural elements, animals, colors, and even perfumes. But if we move our gaze from the frames to the mirrors, will we be able to stare at the reflection of our eyes long enough?
