Annafietta presents an exhibition dedicated to bees and the environment, with an eye to Byzantine times. The relic box of St. Apollinare - the first bishop of Ravenna - reveals a decorative motif, often interpreted as bees. The honey of the bees protects the voice of St. Apollinare, known to be a fine orator, the voice that brought the pagans from the shadow of polytheism into the golden light of true faith. Two hundred and seven bees are embroidered on the vestments of the Saint: a number that, according to Kabbalah, has a dual meaning, representing both light and darkness.
