The title of the exhibition Pezzi di vetro is taken from a famous song by Francesco De Gregori whose protagonist is a sort of fakir who,
like the mosaicist, wins out over glass. The subjects are those that have always featured in Daniele Strada’s poetics: television and books, two elements that are apparently in antithesis. Both of these have been important means of mass communication but today, in the presence of new technologies, they are considered old while still retaining their charm unchanged though for different reasons. The exhibition will also feature a work created in collaboration with the master goldsmith Alberto Zorzi.
