On the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the Modern Mosaics Exhibition, inaugurated on June 7th 1959 at the refectory of the National Museum of Ravenna, the City Art Museum - MAR organizes a conference day with the aim to analyze some important aspects of this past event: from the artistic and cultural environment of the period to the rule of art critics and historians who opened to new reflections and possibilities for developments of contemporary mosaic art.
