Homage to the mosaic master Sergio Cicognani
An exhibition of works by the master Cicognani, a former student of the Academy (1946-1948), who became a partner of the Mosaicists Group of the Academy in 1948.
Mosaic artist and painter, he has collaborated with various international artists to the production of their cartoons, including Mathieu, Severini, Guttuso, Kokoschka, Gutman, Zancaro. He taught mosaic techniques at the Mosaic Art Institute of Ravenna, at CISIM in Lido Adriano and at the Mosaic Restoration School of the Superintendency of Ravenna. He has trained several generations of mosaicists.
