Figures of animals, a fundamental code of the artist's work and almost an obsession which, in the San Vitale complex, assume the appearance of wolves, horses, mules, represented through life-size sculptures with disconcerting plastic and expressionistic rigour, almost living beings in a state of eternal waiting, expressed by a dazed emotive look.
